PRINCIPLES OF “BGC” MEMBERSHIP

Any person who applies for membership to the Bursa Journalists’ Association (“Bursa Gazeteciler Cemiyeti”) unconditionally agrees that he/she will not behave in any manner which would be against the nationally and internationally accepted fundamental rules of journalism. In addition, any member of the Bursa Journalists’ Association shall neither transmit news nor write and express any writings or beliefs which are humiliating or disparaging and have a tendency to harm the personal life of other members and/or colleagues. Furthermore, he/she will not exceed the limits of criticism in any of his/her news, writings and/or speeches which are specifically targeted to colleagues and/or other members of the Association.
